Jesus Lesson To Us As We Learn From A Look!
The title “Learn From A Look” is a great lesson that comes when looking at Mark 6:44, where Jesus feeds 5000 men plus the women and children. In Matthew 14:22-24 and Mark 6:44-48, when Jesus tells his disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side of the lake, He then goes to the mountain and prays. The question here is, did He know that in a short time, a storm was coming. Yes, He did, but His word was go to the other side. No doubt in His mind, they would reach the other side because of His WORD. We who follow Christ are told to go into all the world and make disciples in Matt 28:19. Does this mean we won’t have problems, face opposition, or anything that comes at us? Note it was no small storm and it was at night.
Jesus Is Looking Out For Us.
In Acts 1:11, Jesus ascended into Heaven, two Angels stood by and promised His disciples that Jesus would come again in the same way He ascended. By Jesus ascending, Hebrew 7:25, He’s now in Heaven making intercession for us to Father God. He sees the things we go through; He’s praying for us. He sees the hard times we are facing, the contrary things that we face.
Are The Cares Of The World Distracting You?
Today we are faced with many things that take our minds off the goal we may have, such as the kids, Covid 19, jobs, weather, and of course, the news. The goal is to love God, neighbors, as ourselves; in doing this, we will be the examples of Christ in the earth. Yes, we are faced with this virus, but in Christ, we have protection and healing. We can not let things in life become bigger than the God we serve. One of the worst things I see is the hate and fear in the lives of so many people. The word tells us God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind. Fear and hate are the devil’s tools to separate us and divide us. We, white, brown, black, or yellow, are God’s kids. More important that we are born again, washed in the blood of Christ; if so, you are in the family of God. He is watching and praying for us!
